Tranmere story
Hong Kong-born winger Doug Anderson began his career with Oldham Athletic before joining Tranmere Rovers in 1984. He moved to Plymouth Argyle in 1987 and subsequently had loan spells with Cambridge United and Northampton Town.
Anderson later returned to his birthplace to play for South China. He also represented Scotland at youth level. He died in June 2015, aged 51.
